What does Curblee check before I park?

Curblee reads the posted rules for your block — meters, residential permit zones, rush-hour lanes, street sweeping, no-parking zones, fire hydrants, and loading restrictions — and gives you one clear answer: park here, or don't.

How does Curblee know the curb rules on my block?

We map the signs, regulations, and time restrictions that apply to each block in Washington, DC. If the city changes a rule or a sign, we update the block so the answer stays current.

What are ticket-risk alerts?

Ticket-risk alerts warn you when a rule on your block is about to flip — for example, a rush-hour lane becoming active, a street-sweeping window opening, or a meter that becomes paid. The goal is to move your car before the ticket, not after.

What enforcement notifications will Curblee send?

You can opt into reminders for things like street sweeping, alternate-side schedules, and permit-parking time limits. We'll also flag temporary changes — snow emergencies, special events, and posted rush-hour changes — so you don't get caught off guard.

Will Curblee cover all of DC, or just certain neighborhoods?

Curblee is built for all of Washington, DC, across all eight wards. We are rolling out block-by-block coverage starting with the highest-ticket neighborhoods like Adams Morgan and U Street Corridor, then expanding citywide.

Is Curblee a parking payment app?

No. Curblee does not handle payment. It tells you whether you're allowed to park somewhere and when you need to move, before you feed the meter or walk away from the curb.
